"The part can never be well unless the whole is well" Plato
Naturopathy specialises in a holistic approach to the prevention and treatment of disease, treating the whole person using an individualised combination of natural modalities to safely and effectively promote and restore health.
Aligned with the guiding principle, First Do No Harm, Naturopathic treatment can be successfully integrated with a range of other health supports and remedial treatments including conventional prescription medicines.
As a qualified Naturopath and member of the Naturopaths and Herbalists Association of Australia (NHAA), my goal is to partner, guide and support you with the knowledge and tools to achieve your best health.
Naturopathy specialises in the use of gentle, natural, effective approaches which encourage the body's vitality and innate capacity for healing.
Naturopathic treatments can be planned to address a wide range of health concerns including acute and chronic conditions and are suitable for use with children, to support conception, pregnancy and through each stage of life.
Treatments are carefully tailored to your individual needs and preferences and, along with lifestyle and nutritional advice, can include clinical Western herbal medicine, nutritional supplements, mineral therapies and Australian Bush Flower Essences.

Good nutrition is essential to the creation and maintenance of health. Nutrition is not just about the foods we consume, but our ability to digest the food and assimilate its nutrients to provide for the myriad activities and processes of the body.
Sage and Time Naturopathy encourages the enjoyment of a wide range of fresh, whole foods to deliver readily absorbable macro and micronutrients necessary for sustained strength and energy, growth and repair.
Using 'food as medicine', nutritional changes may be prescribed during consultation with the aim of preventing the progression of disease, limiting symptoms and/or healing the underlying cause. Nutritional and dietary recommendations are individually tailored to fit easily with personal needs and preferences, family and lifestyle.
Nutritional supplements, which can include vitamins, minerals, nutritive herbs and other substances naturally present in the body may be prescribed to target deficiencies, restore balance, prevent or treat disease.
The use of plants for their medicinal properties has a rich history which spans all cultures and is evidenced since ancient times. The contemporary use of herbal medicine draws on traditional knowledge and combines it with modern scientific research to deliver evidence-based, safe and effective treatment.
Clinical Western Herbal Medicine, as practised at Sage and Time Naturopathy, uses extracts of whole plants or particular plant parts, such as roots or rhizomes, berries, leaves or flowers, for their therapeutic qualities - to promote health and vitality, prevent or treat disease.
Medicinal herbs are typically prescribed as an easily absorbed liquid extract. Herbs are blended in an appropriate formulation for each individual, effectively treating multiple concerns in one preparation. Herbal medicines may also be prescribed in tablet form.
Sage and Time Naturopathy uses herbal medicines which have been manufactured in Australia where processes and quality are strictly monitored.
